I enjoy working at Martz & Lucas because our firm is family. I work with amazing people that share the same values, morals, and ideals. We provide honest, efficient, and pragmatic legal services in a relateable and comfortable environment. I volunteer with the Porter County Agricultural Society and assist with the Porter County Fair. My family and I run the Porter County 4-H poultry program. I am a past president of the Porter County Bar Association, Eagle Scout and was the Valparaiso University Crusader mascot.
I have been working with the guys at Martz & Lucas as a legal secretary and 'Ringmaster of the Circus' since 2018. I handle our personal injury practice, helping clients work through the details of their case. I enjoy helping people and our down to earth staff. I am region-raised. I live in Lake County with my husband Aaron, our two kids Aidan and Ellie and our dog Beauford. I love live music and go to as many concerts as I can. I enjoy running, traveling, spending time with my family and friends. Enjoy all this life has to offer.
Martz & Lucas gives me a chance to help people, most of which have never hired an attorney before. We do this while balancing work and home life. Over the years I’ve been heavily involved in the Valparaiso High School Mock Trial team, the Porter County Bar Association, Rotary and Inns of Court. I believe in the mission of 4-H. My wife Sheila and I are the County coordinators for the 4-H shooting sports program. Our firm represents the Porter County Fair and we are heavily involved in the Fair each July. In a past life I worked as a TV news reporter.

I'm a life long Porter and Jasper County resident and a 1975 graduated of Valparaiso University. My family has had a long standing involvement in the Valparaiso community where I managed Miller’s Mart, my wife owned Anna’s Hallmark, and my brother owned Indiana Furniture. At Martz & Lucas I manage our probate and estate planning practice. I enjoy my job because I guide people through some of the most difficult times of their lives. Along with Martz and Lucas I am the Porter County Fair manager. Our involvement at the Fair, and other parts of the Community, keeps us grounded.
